Support day-to-day claims administration and service for clients on an assigned book of third-party administrator business, working closely with carriers, adjusters and account teams.

What you will do
- Review new and open claims for coverage, reserves, compensability and handling, escalating concerns
- Track claim activity, diary dates and milestones, following up on aging or stalled files
- Flag large, litigated or severe claims early and report them to clients, account leads and carriers
- Coordinate with adjusters, carriers and vendors on status, settlement authority and recovery options
- Handle claim intake and first notice of loss, and keep the system of record accurate
- Prepare claim reviews, loss runs, recurring reports and trend analyses

- Two or more years in claims administration, handling or analysis within property and casualty
- Knowledge of property and casualty claims, coverage and loss run data
- Ability to follow process and procedure guidance
- Analytical and problem solving skills with claim data and reports
- Composure and tact under pressure on sensitive or urgent claim issues
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and teamwork
