Community Manager

About the role

The role is to keep an online community of gig workers and side hustlers engaged and healthy, acting as the human link between members and the platform team.

What you will do

• Moderate and manage the community across Discord, Facebook Group, Reddit and social comment threads
• Answer member questions, posts and feedback promptly in a warm brand voice
• Produce regular community content such as polls, threads, announcements and conversation prompts
• Spot and highlight standout members and power users
• Gather member feedback and pass insights to product and content colleagues
• Work with social and support teams on escalated issues and track community health metrics weekly

What they look for

• No degree needed
• Demonstrated experience running or growing an online community on any platform
• Strong written communication with a warm, genuine tone
• Patience and empathy when dealing with frustrated members
• Good organisation to juggle several community channels at once
• Familiarity with moderation tools on Discord, Facebook Groups or Reddit
