Growth Sales Focused Account Manager

About the role

A sales role that combines finding new insurance clients with growing and keeping existing ones. Most of the time goes to prospecting, with the rest spent on account management.

What you will do

• Study target firms and the underwriting and claims decision makers in the cyber insurance market
• Run structured outreach across several channels to book quality meetings for senior business developers
• Keep a lasting pipeline alive through long and complicated sales cycles
• Grow professional networks via LinkedIn, industry events and similar channels
• Map client organisations, find more stakeholders and seek cross-sell and upsell revenue
• Guide client implementation projects, track plans, hold progress meetings and coordinate stakeholders

What they look for

• Two or more years of direct B2B or B2B2C selling, including sales development work
• A record of researching prospects, doing multichannel outreach and opening new accounts
• Experience guiding prospects through long sales cycles without over-contacting them
• Ability to spot growth in existing accounts via mapping, stakeholder work, cross-selling and upselling
• Experience coordinating complex groups of internal and external stakeholders to deliver results
