What you will do
- Design and implement visual-inertial odometry and SLAM pipelines using camera and inertial data
- Build and maintain camera models, calibration routines and sensor synchronisation across hardware setups
- Apply optimisation and filtering methods for accurate 6-DoF pose estimation
- Track computer vision research and assess new techniques for product integration
- Work with hardware, firmware and software teams on end-to-end perception solutions

- Hands-on work with visual odometry or SLAM systems and open source frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Strong maths background in linear algebra, probability and state estimation

- Awareness of GPU computing and real-time algorithm optimisation
- Familiarity with deep learning perception methods and tools such as ROS and OpenCV
