Content Marketing Team Manager

About the role

Lead the content side of an inbound marketing engine, managing a team of copywriters and owning editorial quality and pipeline results. The role keeps content strong in both classic search and AI answer engines.

What you will do

• Manage, coach and develop a group of six copywriters, including reviews, feedback and hiring
• Set and uphold expectations for output, quality and ownership across the team
• Own the editorial standard for accuracy, depth, voice, structure and product truth
• Edit and review content before publication and help writers improve over time
• Work with SEO specialists on keyword strategy, topic clusters, briefs and refreshes
• Coordinate with web, technical SEO and design on publishing, templates and internal linking

• Experience leading or coaching a content or copywriting team
• Strong editorial judgement and hands-on editing skills
• Familiarity with SEO and how content performs in AI answer engines
• Ability to use AI tools in content workflows without lowering quality
