Content Specialist, Operations Content

About the role

Manage and deliver high quality content products from start to finish, with expertise in public records or dockets and strong technical skills. The role supports an extended coverage schedule through rotating shifts.

What you will do

• Keep work products and product databases complete and accurate across assigned workflows
• Build expertise in team and neighbouring workflows and support tactical and strategic efforts
• Improve processes and cut costs using Lean Six Sigma or similar methods
• Resolve complex issues in content conversion, workflows and data integrity with little support
• Take part in enhancement projects, testing and rollouts of new systems
• Use technical skills to operate and troubleshoot publishing applications

• Strong technical grasp of content operations publishing systems, especially for public records and dockets
• A customer-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities
• Proficiency in UNIX and scripting, plus familiarity with SharePoint, JIRA and publishing platforms
• Excellent problem solving for complex data and system issues
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights

Nice to have

• Operating systems such as Windows and UNIX
• Programming in C, C++, C or .NET
• Databases such as Oracle, MS SQL or MS Access
• Web technologies including XML and HTML
