Content Strategist

About the role

Support strategic public relations communications and content initiatives within a public relations centre of excellence, focusing on social media strategy, content development and measurement.

What you will do

• Design and run social media strategies and campaigns that support brand storytelling and awareness
• Administer corporate social accounts, maintain the content calendar and manage communities for organic engagement
• Plan, create and publish content aligned with business objectives and user needs
• Track platform performance and sentiment, report findings and adjust approaches
• Collaborate with department staff, leadership and product teams
• Support crisis communications, media relations, partnerships and thought leadership as needed

What they look for

• At least three to four years in a professional communications role covering content strategy, marketing, writing or editing
• One to two years of direct professional social media experience
• Exceptional writing, editing and strategic content planning skills
• Ability to translate brand strategy into channel-specific content
• Experience writing and editing website or blog articles professionally
