Customer Application Engineer

About the role

Provide technical expertise and solutions during pre-requisition and order execution phases, interfacing with commercial teams and customers. Support winning bids and customise products for specific customer needs.

What you will do

• Develop technical solutions covering configuration, performance estimation and economics for the pre-requisition process
• Analyse client needs and define product scope, schedule, industrial scheme and cost within contract and internal policies
• Calculate plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency
• Document technical specifications and costing elements for later contract execution phases
• Customise and implement products for specific customer needs during order execution

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Three years of technical writing experience, such as technical proposals or manuals
• Ability to analyse and resolve problems and to document, plan, market and execute programs
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional working skills

Nice to have

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Established project management skills
