A first line support specialist assists business clients of a financial software company, handling tickets and escalating technical issues while working remotely from home.
What you will do
- Track and handle incoming tickets in Zendesk
- Send first replies within agreed service levels
- Gather issue details such as screenshots, versions, reproduction steps and expected results
- Run basic troubleshooting and recreate problems in test environments
- Answer routine questions from documentation and user guides
- Escalate complex cases to higher tiers, QA, developers or product teams and follow up
What they look for
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Customer support experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or software support
- Strong practical Zendesk knowledge
- Familiarity with fintech
- Understanding of ticket management, service levels, escalation and support workflows
- Tech savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
Nice to have
- Fintech or financial software experience
- General knowledge of financial products and operations
- Azure DevOps experience
- Experience recreating software bugs
