Project Analyst

About the role

The role keeps project finances healthy by recording and reporting financial data and acting as the finance point of contact for clients. It involves close work with project teams and escalation of financial concerns.

What you will do

• Record completed units and their value each month together with the project management team
• Forecast upcoming units and revenue alongside project managers
• Compare actual hours and costs against budget to protect profitability
• Check that planned resource assignments match forecast workload
• Raise invoices promptly and track overall project cash position
• Keep financial records in the required systems and support audit processes

What they look for

• Bachelor level education with a preference for business or finance experience
• Ability to influence and challenge others when needed
• Strong written and spoken communication, including fluent English
• Understanding of project finances from award through close out
• Familiarity with revenue recognition on a percent complete basis
• Skill in building financial presentations for non-financial audiences and clients
