The director owns business development strategy and client retention for an assigned territory or set of accounts, coordinating the work of business development staff.

What you will do
- Develop strategic plans and sales strategies for the assigned territory or accounts
- Find new business opportunities and respond to information and proposal requests
- Coordinate budget and contract negotiations after work is awarded
- Prepare sponsor presentations and gather information needed for proposals
- Track study status with operations and handle change orders when scope shifts
- Record all activity and client contacts in the CRM system

- At least five years in clinical research or sales
- More than three years of sales experience with strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, planning and multitasking abilities
