What you will do

  • Coach engineers through regular one to ones, clear expectations and steady feedback
  • Set technical direction and architecture for the new ERP, including settling the stack
  • Stay in the code with reviews, design, prototyping and work on key components
  • Own the development lifecycle: sprint cadence, standups, retrospectives and release schedules
  • Oversee infrastructure, site reliability, on-call and production incidents

  • Eight or more years in software development, with at least three managing engineers
  • Strong hands-on Java work on back-end enterprise applications
  • Able to keep a legacy stack of Linux, Perl, Spring Boot, Oracle and SQL stable and secure
