Lead a cross-functional engineering squad while supporting the growth and wellbeing of the engineers in it. Combine people management with technical oversight and hands-on client project work.
What you will do
- Run one to ones and performance reviews for your reports
- Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their development and career progress
- Lead a cross-functional squad with clear goals and a culture of accountability
- Facilitate retrospectives and squad check-ins
- Work with other engineering managers and discipline leads to keep practices consistent
- Spot knowledge gaps and steer training where needed

- Able to identify areas for improvement in individuals and turn feedback into development plans
