Field Application Scientist

About the role

A remote field role supporting customers across a Mid-Atlantic territory, acting as a scientific partner who helps researchers and biopharma teams adopt biophysical instruments and get measurable results.

What you will do

• Lead demonstrations in the field and in house across varied research settings
• Support pre-sales technical talks by matching technology to customer workflows and goals
• Prepare and present demo and evaluation reports to customers and internal teams
• Handle demo unit bookings and logistics, and install instruments with on-site support
• Deliver application-focused training tailored to customer research
• Present at webinars, workshops and conferences, and help create application notes and posters

What they look for

• At least two years of hands-on lab work in protein characterisation, drug discovery or biophysical methods
• Strong technical skills and a customer-focused, problem-solving mindset
• Clear communication that turns complex data into accessible insight
• Ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, R&D and product teams
• Residence within the Mid-Atlantic territory
