What you will do

  • Handle daily bookkeeping, AP and AR, invoicing, expenses and bank reconciliations
  • Run month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals
  • Set up Business Central, covering chart of accounts, posting groups, dimensions, VAT, bank accounts and periods
  • Lead the QuickBooks migration end to end: extract, map, clean, configure, trial import, reconcile and go live
  • Review five years of records during the move, fix gaps and keep a traceable audit trail
  • Prepare Latvian VAT, corporate income tax, payroll obligations and VID/EDS filings

  • Proven hands-on accounting experience, including running a full set of books
  • Direct experience configuring and migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Knowledge of Latvian tax and statutory reporting, including VAT and EDS processes
