About the role

An in-office accounting role owning the books and financial reporting for a home services business, working directly with senior leadership to inform pricing and operational decisions.

What you will do

Own general ledger accounting, reconciliations and month-end and year-end close
Prepare financial statements, management reports, job costing and dashboards
Oversee payables, receivables, payroll coordination and daily cash monitoring
Keep practices GAAP-compliant and support tax filings and S-corporation reporting
Analyse job profitability across service lines and improve controls and workflows

What they look for

Three to five or more years of progressive accounting experience
Strong grasp of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations and close processes
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Desktop
Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and dashboards
Ability to explain financial results clearly to non-financial leaders

Nice to have

Active CPA licence
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software
Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Query, Zapier or API dashboards

USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year
