Finance Specialist

About the role

Provides finance and accounting support to assigned business units, keeping financial records accurate and processes timely while helping ensure policy and control compliance.

What you will do

• Handle journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, account analysis and record upkeep
• Support accounts payable, vendor administration, invoice routing and payment processing
• Prepare reports and tracking tools for budget managers and finance managers
• Help with grants, contracts, awards, restricted funding and assigned finance processes
• Support audit requests, internal controls, compliance monitoring and process improvements

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
• At least three years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience managing controls and reports for a business unit
• Ability to work independently across recurring cycles and deadlines
