Healthcare Quality Coordinator, Provider Outreach and Compliance

About the role

The team collects and checks quality data, then works with providers, vendors and internal groups to keep compliance on track. Good work means clean tracking logs, reports that hold up, and missing records found and closed out.

What you will do

• Collect data for quality management initiatives and keep tracking logs current
• Reach out to providers so required compliance is maintained
• Coordinate activities with providers, outside vendors and internal departments
• Pull together data and do a first pass of analysis on assigned projects
• Build charts, graphs and reports showing results and outcomes
• Request medical records, follow up by phone and fax, and trace missing information

What they look for

• At least a year of clerical work in a medical office, health plan or hospital
• Managed care experience
• Two or more years of professional work with Word, Outlook, Excel and Access
• High school diploma or GED, plus six months of related experience or training
• Ability to run simple statistics and read statistical reports
• Strong written and spoken communication with diverse members, managers and vendors
