Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Sell a membership programme aimed at professional painting contractors over the phone. The role is fully remote and focused on high volume outbound outreach.

What you will do

• Place more than one hundred outbound calls a day to painting contractors
• Answer inbound interest promptly and follow up by phone, email and text message
• Learn what business owners need and explain the programme's value and return on investment
• Work through objections and ask for the sale confidently
• Sign up qualified contractors and close deals over the phone
• Keep an accurate sales pipeline and activity record in HubSpot

What they look for

• At least one year in inside sales, outbound sales, telesales or a similar role
• A track record of successful selling by phone
• Comfort working in a high volume outbound setting
• Competitive, coachable and persistent, with results as motivation
• Solid communication, listening and relationship building abilities
• Able to talk about price, handle objections and ask for the sale

Nice to have

• Experience with HubSpot or another CRM
• Experience selling to small business owners
• Background in painting, home improvement, contractor services, SaaS, advertising or lead generation
