Intake Analyst

About the role

A contract intake role focused on reviewing loan applications, checking documents and keeping records accurate for a lender serving small and medium businesses. Work is fully remote on Eastern Time hours.

What you will do

• Review incoming loan applications and supporting files for completeness and accuracy
• Carry out first-pass assessment of borrower details and financial information
• Verify and arrange documents received through CRM or document management systems
• Enter and update records in internal systems and spreadsheets, using Excel for checks and reconciliation
• Work with credit, underwriting and operations teams to keep loan processing moving
• Flag errors, gaps or inconsistencies and escalate them when needed

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, economics or a translation related field
• Up to five years of relevant experience, ideally in data entry, intake, credit or financial analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data review and basic analysis
• Solid command of Outlook and Word, plus spoken and written English
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new software quickly
• Careful attention to detail and good organization under tight deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with CRM or document management tools
