What you will do
- Install, upgrade and maintain the JD Edwards technical environment
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults and keep systems running smoothly
- Automate routine system tasks and optimise performance
- Work mostly remotely with occasional short trips to client sites
What they look for
- Five or more years of consulting work covering technical support, upgrades, migrations and implementations
- At least one year of hands-on JD Edwards application software experience through E1 9.x
- Three or more years of JD Edwards application software experience
- One or more years working with SQL
- Four or more years administering JD Edwards E1 systems
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving abilities, and a technical degree is preferred
Nice to have
- Installing and upgrading J2EE application servers such as WebSphere, Oracle Application Server or WebLogic
- Setting up and configuring Business Services
- Supporting Business Services and JDE Orchestrator, and using SQL to debug database problems
