Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

About the role

Join an engineering team building secure, reliable software for complex public-sector and operational settings, working across back-end and front-end development.

What you will do

• Contribute to front-end work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular or AngularJS
• Write clean, maintainable code and work with relational and NoSQL databases
• Use Git, build tools and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with product, QA, design and DevOps colleagues
• Apply good practice in security, performance, accessibility and maintainability

What they look for

• Around two to five years of software development experience, preferably commercial
• Hands-on Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming, with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git, collaborative workflows, CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery
• A test-first mindset and willingness to maintain automated tests
• Ability to work in an agile team and communicate clearly

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA or Hibernate
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based development
• Front-end experience with TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, AngularJS or Vue
• Exposure to AWS or Azure, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins or GitLab CI
