Key Account Manager

About the role

An individual contributor sales role focused on launching a new kidney transplant product in a defined territory and building the first sales foundation for it. The person drives account plans and works across functions to reach launch revenue goals.

What you will do

• Create strategic account plans, spot key opportunities and stakeholders, and grow use of the product in suitable patients.
• Cultivate lasting professional ties with prescribers, hospital and transplant staff, and other care team members.
• Work through complicated hospital, academic and transplant settings to reach decision makers and gain access.
• Answer customer questions within approved labeling and sales training, and route inquiries to the right partners.
• Track account decisions affecting access, such as formulary placement and inclusion in electronic medical records, and plan responses.
• Coordinate with market access, medical, operations, marketing and trade colleagues on territory and national strategy.
