Key Account Manager, Cardiovascular

About the role

The role drives the commercial launch of a novel cardiac myosin inhibitor for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the Munich area. It builds relationships with hospitals, cardiology centres and specialty networks while coordinating with medical, market access and marketing colleagues.

What you will do

• Deliver sales results autonomously and own launch success within the territory
• Build territory account plans that prioritise opportunities and coordinate the local field team
• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert and share approved disease and product information with customers
• Communicate approved materials to healthcare professionals, including publications, payer information and patient support resources

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Eligibility to work as a pharmaceutical sales person under section 75 AMG
• At least five years of biotech or pharma sales experience
• Prior commercial sales or key account role with sole territory ownership
• Ability to analyse territory market trends and plan strategically to exceed sales targets
• Experience selling to complex accounts such as university clinics in hospital and office settings

Nice to have

• Native German with business fluent English
• Cardiology, rare disease or specialty product experience
• Product launch experience
• Knowledge of key opinion leaders and key accounts in the territory
