Key Account Manager

About the role

An individual contributor sales role focused on launching a new kidney transplant product in the US market and building the first sales foundation in a new territory.

What you will do

• Create strategic account plans that identify key opportunities and stakeholders and lift product use in suitable patients
• Cultivate professional ties with prescribers, hospital and transplant staff and others along the care pathway
• Navigate complex hospital, academic and transplant settings to reach decision makers
• Answer customer questions within approved indication and training guidance, routing inquiries to the right partners
• Track account decisions affecting access and pursue formulary placement and EMR inclusion
• Coordinate with market access, medical, operations, marketing and trade colleagues on territory and national strategy

What they look for

• Track record of building sales in newly opened territories
• Ability to develop and carry out sales strategies that meet or exceed targets
• Skill at gaining access to stakeholders in complex hospital and transplant environments
• Working knowledge of disease state and clinical science
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and budget management
