Lead Analyst, Retail Pricing Analytics

About the role

A client-facing lead role supporting pricing strategy for a large home improvement retailer. The analyst connects advanced data work with executive decision making and coordinates delivery across onshore and offshore teams.

What you will do

• Advise client leadership and turn unclear business problems into structured analytical plans
• Coordinate daily delivery with US and offshore analytics and engineering teams
• Design and refine competitive pricing, discount and promotional models tied to key business metrics
• Build data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform and executive Tableau dashboards
• Handle urgent client requests and market trend analyses in a fast-paced retail setting

What they look for

• At least three years in retail analytics focused on pricing, promotions or merchandising
• Five or more years in data analytics or data science, including presenting to senior leaders
• Advanced SQL skills, with Google BigQuery experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Tableau skills for executive-level visualizations
• Strong retail or e-commerce domain knowledge, ideally in home improvement
• Strategy consulting experience, client expectation management and structured problem solving

Nice to have

• Python for data science, modeling or automated workflows
• Practical knowledge of retail pricing mechanics such as elasticity, tiering, margin impact and competitor matching
