About the role

Support complex merger and acquisition deals, financial analysis and transaction execution for a US-based company, working remotely. The role spans modeling, accounting review and client-ready materials across the deal lifecycle.

What you will do

• Build detailed financial models from historical statements, operating assumptions and projections
• Check financial reports for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP, fixing classification issues
• Produce polished, visually strong PowerPoint decks and client-facing documents in English
• Support every stage of M&A execution, from due diligence to transaction documentation
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and use AI tools to speed up research and workflow

What they look for

• Three to five years of relevant experience, with at least two and no more than ten
• Direct mergers and acquisitions exposure plus strong modeling and valuation skills
• Solid grasp of financial statements and US GAAP
• Advanced PowerPoint ability and a good eye for presentation design
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong analysis and organization
• Based in Colombia, ideally Bogotá, with high attention to detail and independent working style

Nice to have

• Background in an investment banking M&A team
• Strategy or management consulting with M&A due diligence
• Private equity or corporate development experience
