Medical Science Liaison

About the role

A field based scientific role representing medical affairs in endocrinology, building relationships with key opinion leaders and educating healthcare providers about disease states and pipeline products.

What you will do

• Act as the external scientific face of medical affairs in the field
• Raise awareness in the endocrinology community and explain the potential of the company technology
• Keep deep medical knowledge across the portfolio, pipeline and related disease areas such as bone and growth
• Deliver scientific and medical presentations to internal and external audiences
• Find and engage key opinion leaders and relevant organisations such as professional associations and patient groups
• Gather external insights on disease states, competitors and the pipeline and share them with internal stakeholders

What they look for

• An MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent qualification
• At least five years of experience as a medical science liaison
• Confidence communicating clinical and scientific information
• Ability to build and maintain a key opinion leader engagement plan
• Strong collaboration with internal teams such as market access, marketing and sales
• Willingness to document activities in a CRM system and follow compliance policies
