What you will do

  • Run parts of the monthly close: reconciliations, supporting schedules, analysis, quality review and reporting
  • Enter transactions in the general ledger on an accrual basis and chase down account variances
  • Coordinate engagement phases with the partner or manager, review working papers and talk to clients
  • Train and supervise staff on the job and keep clients up to date on progress and problems
