Principal Engineer, AI Platform

About the role

A principal engineering role setting the technical direction for an AI platform that supports generative AI and recommender systems at massive scale. The work spans data orchestration, model training and high-performance inference.

What you will do

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for the AI platform in line with business goals
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across generative AI and recommender systems infrastructure
• Build engines for petabyte-scale data orchestration, training, fine-tuning and inference
• Automate user experiences by connecting stages of the AI and ML lifecycle
• Foster an inclusive team culture and give candid feedback that grows engineers
