SAP Release and Change Manager

About the role

Own release planning, change coordination and deployment governance across a complex SAP landscape, keeping project delivery and day to day operations in balance. Coordinate several teams and workstreams so that changes reach production in a controlled way.

What you will do

• Set up and maintain release schedules and manage dependencies between parallel workstreams
• Confirm that prerequisites, testing and release documentation are finished before each deployment
• Coordinate transport movements through development, test, pre-production and production systems
• Spot transport conflicts and downgrade risks, applying controls such as CSOL and DGP
• Prepare release boards and go/no-go meetings so stakeholders can decide in good time
• Coordinate go-live and cutover activities, resolve blockers and oversee post-release stabilisation

What they look for

• Solid grasp of SAP transport management, including STMS, import queues, sequencing and system dependencies
• Track record with dual-track SAP landscapes covering both projects and maintenance
• Knowledge of transport conflict prevention, notably CSOL and downgrade protection
• Experience with deployments spanning cloud and on-premise systems
