Security Machine Learning Engineer/ Researcher

About the role

Someone who can turn security requirements into data science problems and ship production detection features, working closely with data integration and security teams.

What you will do

• Review and design data schemas and normalisation for third-party security data with the integration team
• Turn detection use cases into machine learning problems and propose solutions from integrated data
• Research and build algorithms for detection, correlation and investigation based on security insights
• Ship product features and set up processes, tools and metrics to track detection efficacy for customers

What they look for

• Master's or PhD in computer science or a related field, focused on machine learning, deep learning, NLP or AI
• Experience as an ML engineer or research scientist with time series, graph machine learning or NLP
• Strong grasp of ML algorithms, statistical models and deep neural networks, plus Python for quick prototypes and production code
• Clear communication of complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Prior security product knowledge, including detection and response or threat hunting
