Senior Account Executive, Cybersecurity

About the role

A senior sales role responsible for developing new software accounts in an assigned multi-state territory, selling safety solutions to public sector and education buyers.

What you will do

• Learn target buyer personas, the solution offering and the competitive landscape
• Prospect, qualify and close new business opportunities
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecast
• Manage daily outreach including cold calls, appointments, presentations and proposals
• Own the client experience end to end, driving retention and account expansion
• Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to grow territory sales

What they look for

• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM for pipeline hygiene and forecasting
• Understanding of state, county and local government buying behavior and RFP or RFI procurement
• Proven record of growing territories through strategic sales plans
• Willingness to travel 50 to 75 percent within the assigned territory

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD, RMS or jail management systems
• Experience selling to 911, emergency management, public safety or K-12 customers
