What you will do
- Run monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes
- Keep the general ledger accurate and complete
- Produce financial statements and related reporting
- Investigate unusual balances, variances and discrepancies
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll and banking activity

- Five or more years of steadily increasing accounting responsibility
- Solid grasp of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience running month-end and year-end close
- Experience preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
Nice to have
- Nonprofit accounting background
- Grant accounting and restricted fund experience
- Familiarity with federal grants, Uniform Guidance or Single Audit
- CPA or CPA candidate status
