Senior Backend Developer

About the role

Build, optimize, and maintain scalable backend applications for a client team. The role focuses on database architecture, APIs, performance, and security, with a fixed weekday schedule.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for application features and integrations
• Set up logging and monitoring with the ELK Stack
• Containerize applications with Docker and support deployments on AWS
• Implement caching with Redis and apply encryption, authentication, and security practices

What they look for

• Strong professional backend development experience, ideally at senior level
• Advanced Python and SQL proficiency
• Experience using the ELK Stack for logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Practical Docker and container experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Celery for asynchronous tasks and background jobs
• Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time communication
