Senior Software Engineer, Python/React

About the role

A hands-on engineering role owning features end to end across Python backends and React frontends, with heavy use of AI-assisted development in a small senior team.

What you will do

• Build the React and React Native frontends those services power
• Lead by example on AI-assisted development, including agentic coding tools and automated review
• Uphold engineering standards such as CI, peer review, testing, observability and safe releases on AWS
• Integrate third-party platforms for booking channels, payments and messaging
• Pair with product and operations to turn real hosting problems into shipped software

What they look for

• Six or more years of professional software development with deep Python and solid React
• Daily, serious use of AI coding tools in production work, with clear views on their limits
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Building agentic workflows or LLM features such as tool use, evals, prompt caching and cost control
• React Native, Elastic Stack, or proptech, travel or marketplace experience
