Build and maintain the export pipeline that turns user designs into downloadable files, focusing on Chromium rendering issues and accessible PDF output for enterprise users.
What you will do
- Work with a staff engineer to diagnose and fix complex Chromium problems such as upgrade breakages and rendering race conditions
- Own the PDF accessibility post-processing pipeline and add tagging and compliance features for enterprise exports
- Create monitoring and testing infrastructure that flags Chromium changes before they hit production
- Design accessibility solutions that stay stable when Chromium output structure shifts
- Contribute to wider export infrastructure work including format optimisation and distributed systems reliability
- Document Chromium behaviour and architectural decisions to spread team knowledge

- Comfort with C++ for working inside complex third-party codebases
- Solid Java backend engineering skills
- Experience debugging layered systems spanning multiple codebases and languages
- Knowledge of the PDF specification or hands-on PDF generation and post-processing
