What you will do

  • Ship production plugins for AutoCAD and Civil 3D in.NET and ObjectARX, plus MicroStation and OpenX Designer SDKs
  • Build the export flow end to end: sign-in with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, packaging, upload through platform APIs, retries
  • Build the import flow so users can browse designs by project and download them into the CAD session via time-limited links
  • Convert civil objects such as alignments, profiles, corridors and pipe networks into LandXML, IFC or GeoJSON without losing data
  • Own installers, code signing and versioning across yearly Autodesk and Bentley releases

  • Six or more years in software development, with at least four building CAD plugins used in production
  • Strong C and.NET, plus working C and C++ for native CAD APIs
  • Hands-on with the AutoCAD and Civil 3D APIs and with the MicroStation SDK or a Bentley OpenX Designer SDK
  • Knowledge of civil design workflows from survey through model to plan set
  • Experience calling REST and GraphQL APIs from desktop apps, including secure token storage
  • Familiarity with coordinate systems and map projections
