What you will do
- Define and lead security architecture, engineering standards, procedures and verification practices
- Provide technical direction and oversight to security officers and security engineers
- Lead risk and control assessments, vulnerability management and broader security program work
- Oversee authorization to operate and system security plan activities in line with Zero Trust and federal rules
- Guide application security testing, penetration testing and remediation with development teams
- Report risks, vulnerabilities and remediation options to government and cross-functional stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in IT, information assurance, cybersecurity or similar, or equivalent experience, plus at least ten years relevant work
- Current CISSP certification
- Five or more years of security engineering in Agile, Scrum or SAFe, DevSecOps and cloud projects

- Experience with Census Bureau, Commerce Department or similar civilian federal systems
