Senior Software Engineer, Core Platform

About the role

A senior engineering and architecture role on a core team that builds and ships an open source plugin based platform for running and optimizing AI agents across many compute backends.

What you will do

• Design an agentic execution system that works across local, Kubernetes, Slurm and air gapped environments.
• Build and maintain core platform APIs for jobs, data, entities, secrets, role based access control and authentication.
• Extend a flexible plugin architecture so internal teams and external customers can add capabilities.
• Improve reliability, observability, debuggability and performance across the platform, SDKs, plugins and workflows.
• Build strong test coverage across unit, integration, end to end, Docker and Kubernetes workflows.

• Strong system design skills and comfort with fast, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including producing and reviewing architectural RFCs.
