Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Build the pipelines and data model behind an AI-native platform that helps container terminal operators run on trustworthy, unified data. The role shapes the engineering foundations as the platform scales.

What you will do

• Design and build pipelines that bring terminal operating system data into the platform
• Develop ELT flows from on-premises databases into an Azure platform with near-real-time and daily refresh
• Extend internal connector tooling written in Go
• Set up data quality monitoring such as gap detection, freshness alerts and reconciliation

What they look for

• Five or more years in data engineering, with end-to-end ownership of production data platforms
• Genuine appetite for architectural ownership and curiosity
• Comfort working directly with terminal operations staff, without intermediate layers
• Knowledge of Kafka or Azure Event Hubs and incremental extraction patterns
• Familiarity with Go for internal tooling
