Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist

About the role

A procurement role sourcing indirect category projects and statements of work across Europe, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. The specialist works with country sourcing managers and business leads to apply sourcing strategies and contracting needs.

What you will do

• Grasp business needs and customer goals to source effective suppliers and solutions
• Spot and record value through negotiation or competitive bidding on statements of work and purchase orders
• Lead sourcing and negotiations for commercial and general indirect spend
• Keep procurement policies followed and compliance metrics met or exceeded via contracts and statements of work

What they look for

• A degree plus four years of sourcing or procurement experience
• Solid grasp of tendering, supplier negotiation and contracting across indirect categories
• Written and spoken English proficiency
• Comfort with MS Office, including Excel

Nice to have

• Able to grasp business goals
• Works with little supervision while keeping quality high
• Experience with e-procurement tools such as Scout and Ariba
• Analytical evaluation skills and extra languages such as Italian or German
