Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Generative AI

About the role

A hands-on team that experiments, learns and ships AI into production. The work covers the whole model lifecycle, from data intake to monitoring, with an eye on safety, cost and auditability.

What you will do

• Lead design and build of LLM products, covering data ingestion, training, fine-tuning, deployment and monitoring on AWS
• Build ML and LLM pipelines for claim summaries, underwriting help, pricing and developer tools
• Improve model output with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases and fine-tuning
• Set ML Ops practice for CI/CD, evaluation, observability and responsible AI so models stay auditable and secure
• Mentor engineers and data scientists, review code and designs, and keep AI workloads fast and cost-efficient

What they look for

• At least 5 years in machine learning or data science, with production ML systems delivered end to end
• Strong Python skills and experience building scalable ML or LLM services and pipelines
• Hands-on AWS work with S3, EC2, RDS and SageMaker
• Clear grasp of ML Ops for model development, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management
• Comfort using AI tools in your own work to improve productivity
