Senior Manager, Business Development

About the role

A role focused on finding and securing corporate partnerships that fund the organisation's mission through donations, cause marketing and workplace giving. The manager supports the business development strategy and handles selected partner relationships.

What you will do

• Seek out and win partnerships with for-profit companies that generate revenue
• Build relationships with prospective corporate partners and craft tailored proposals
• Support the business development director in carrying out the department strategy
• Manage a set of existing partner relationships and help grow workplace giving programs
• Coordinate with marketing, finance, legal, programs and membership teams on activations

• Strong communication and relationship building abilities
• Solid project management skills with creativity and close attention to detail
• Familiarity with how corporate partnership structures work
• Willingness to travel up to 15 percent of the time
• Availability for specified partner meetings about five times a year
