What you will do
- Direct evaluation, investigation, negotiation and settlement of complex claims
- Supervise and mentor claims staff, covering assignments, performance and development
- Track workflow, introduce efficiencies and keep processing prompt and accurate
- Partner with administrators, brokers, agents, policyholders, vendors and legal counsel

- At least five years of medical stop loss or health insurance claims experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability and solid knowledge of the industry
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Experience managing stakeholders and working directly with customers
- Familiarity with claims practices and relevant state and federal law
- Clear communication and negotiation skills, plus comfort with claims systems
