Director of Finance

About the role

Give financial and analytical guidance to venture-stage clients, owning client success in accounting and finance. The role works independently with strategic support from senior finance leaders.

What you will do

• Advise client executive teams on the operational drivers of their businesses
• Identify KPIs and build ways to measure and track them
• Guide month-end close work using accounting experience plus forecasting and modeling
• Own client engagements and manage complex relationships independently
• Lead fundraising due diligence for equity and debt
• Manage cap tables, review 409A valuations and present board materials

What they look for

• At least eight years in finance-focused roles
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics
• Strong financial modeling and presentation abilities
• Experience setting up systems and processes that ensure firm-wide controls
• Skill at simplifying complex ideas into actionable recommendations
• Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple client workstreams

Pay

USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year
