Senior Sales Engineer, Majors

About the role

You will work alongside Sales to show customers how the platform addresses their key technical and business problems, leading technical evaluations and demos and guiding them from discovery through to adoption.

What you will do

• Own the technical strategy across opportunities together with Account Executives, from early stages to closed deals
• Lead customer discovery to surface technical challenges, business goals and success criteria, then shape tailored solutions
• Deliver product demos, technical presentations and workshops that tie platform capabilities to customer outcomes
• Run technical evaluations end to end, scoping use cases, setting success criteria, planning timelines and holding participants accountable
• Identify and develop technical champions inside customer accounts who advocate for adoption and build internal consensus
• Feed customer technical input back to product and engineering teams to help shape product direction

What they look for

• Skill at navigating multi stakeholder environments and adapting communication for technical, business and executive audiences
• Background in public cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, APM and tracing, security, developer experience and observability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
• A consultative approach to solving problems and engaging customers
• Ability to manage several opportunities and priorities in a fast paced environment
