Senior SDET, Back End [Remote-US]

About the role

A hands-on role improving the quality and reliability of services behind insurance products and business workflows, with ownership of scalable test automation in cloud-hosted distributed systems.

What you will do

• Extend code-based automation with reusable setup and cleanup, data-driven scenarios and clear failure reporting
• Check business rules, API contracts, data persistence, authorization and error handling across services
• Test asynchronous processing and distributed failure conditions such as retries, duplicate events and delayed consistency
• Set up dependable automated checks in CI and CD pipelines and reduce flaky tests

What they look for

• Deep hands-on backend testing experience
• Experience validating service behavior and cross-system interactions in cloud-hosted distributed environments
• Ability to find defects early and troubleshoot using logs, telemetry and infrastructure evidence
• Skill in assessing performance and resilience risks and designing targeted tests
