Senior Software Engineer

About the role

A senior individual contributor role building complex features in C and raising the technical quality of the team. The engineer solves hard problems, mentors colleagues and helps keep solutions aligned with agreed architecture.

What you will do

• Design and build complex features and improvements in C
• Own technically significant or high risk work and see it through
• Make sure solutions are maintainable, testable and clearly understood
• Help diagnose and fix difficult production issues
• Guide and mentor junior and mid level engineers and contribute to code reviews
• Work with QA, Product and other stakeholders and flag technical risks early

• Solid grasp of testing, performance and maintainability
• Ability to mentor others and lead by example
• Sound technical judgement when under pressure
