What you will do
- Is the client's technical escalation contact and build a long-term working relationship
- Align IT solutions with the client's business goals and technical setup
- Work with support and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly
- Spot patterns in incidents and outages, then push improvements
- Support event, incident, problem and change management under ITIL
- Coordinate root cause analysis and keep clients updated on big issues
A typical week
- Checking system health reports and performance metrics
- Talking with the client about goals and open technical issues
- Working with engineering on fixes and change requests
- Writing up incident analysis and monthly reporting
- Coordinating remote teams during critical event coverage

- Experience administering Windows Server environments
- Knowledge of configuring and running Cisco routers and switches
- Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud, including hybrid environments
- VMware virtualisation experience
- Ability to explain technical problems to technical and non-technical audiences
